Dear Mr. Broad,

I am writing to congratulate you on the great concrete work that you performed on the deck area of our new pool during the summer of 2006.

The fact that you performed all of the tasks required to complete the job in only one day still amazes my wife, Carolyn, and me. When you showed-up early in the morning, I thought that you and your crew (about 6 or 7 men) would only have time to prepare the site,

with concrete to follow the next day - was I ever wrong! At 6:00 p.m. (the same day), your crew was cleaning-up after having completed the job.

The quality and attention to detial of your concrete work can't be over-stated, its first class; the massive deck has proven to drain perfectly, the stamped-in-place pattern of the colored concrete blends perfectly with the in-ground granite pool. Best of all, not one crack has appeared after this past winter - amazing!

I carefully observed the many tasks that were accomplished during the day. I was impressed by:

The skill and speed of re-contouring the lanscape where the concrete would eventually be poured (Mr. Broad is an artist with the Bobcat)
The tamping-down of the soil and gravel to make a solid base for the concrete
The precise setting of the concrete forms, with an artistic touch from Mr. Broad.
The careful and accurate "pitching" of the concrete to the two deck drains.
The direction and orchestration of the multiple concrete trucks onto our property with minimum damage to the landscape (grass).
When the crew left for the day, there was nothing for me to do. Everything had been cleaned-up; they even removed the trash.

Finally, all of the crewmembers were hard working, respectful, and considerate of their surroundings. I can't imagine that anyone could perform any concrete job better than R. Broad Concrete.
