We have used R. Broad Concrete to replace all the concrete (walkways, driveway, patio & rear steps) around our residence located on a corner property in Cheektowaga NY.

With Robert Broad not only supervising but also working hands-on at the site, the large job was completed in two days to our satisfaction.

Robert's experience and eye for detail resulted in a product not only functional but also pleasing to look at. His ideas for construction of our rear steps and platform (a problem area because of the overhang at the rear of our house) were used and are now greatly appreciated.

This brief note is a very sincere "Thank You" to Bob, his superb crew and Karen for a truly outstanding job replacing our driveway, carport, patio, walkways, staircases, garage floor, and sidewalk. This was a large job with many techncial details, and Bob was the only person who bid this job (out of 5 local companies) who carefully inspected everything involved and demonstrated total mastery of each and every issue involved.

It was remarkable to see how quickly, neatly, and efficiently the crew performed the entire job, completing in about 2 days what some others expected would take over a week to accomplish. The large amount of equipment wich your company employs is extremely impressive, and the crew performs the work as if they were being directed in a complex ballet with every step being carried out with extreme care and precision.

The art of designing very pleasing shapes and curves combined with the proper grading and slopes for drainage seems to have bene carried out beautifully, and the visual appearance of the finished work now that 2 weeks has elapsed is stunning. The use of exposed aggregate in some areas of the job adds an additional amount of interesting texture and beauty to the job, as do the graceful curves which Bob sculpted as a true artist.

We are delighted to have used your outstanding company and want to thank you once again for doing such a truly exceptional job.

I carefully observed the many tasks that were accomplished during the day. I was impressed by:

• The skill and speed of re-contouring the lanscape where the concrete would eventually be poured (Mr. Broad is an artist with the Bobcat)
• The tamping-down of the soil and gravel to make a solid base for the concrete
• The precise setting of the concrete forms, with an artistic touch from Mr. Broad.
• The careful and accurate "pitching" of the concrete to the two deck drains.
• The direction and orchestration of the multiple concrete trucks onto our property with minimum damage to the landscape (grass).
• When the crew left for the day, there was nothing for me to do. Everything had been cleaned-up; they even removed the trash.

Finally, all of the crewmembers were hard working, respectful, and considerate of their surroundings. I can't imagine that anyone could perform any concrete job better than R. Broad Concrete.
